02/22/05 23:29 - ANNIVERSARY SCAVENGER HUNT

Friday February 25th isn't just another Free For All Friday! Oh no! :) It's the One Year Anniversary of the "FFAF." (It's also Lewis' birthday - so be sure to go and wish him the Happy Birthdays!") We wanted to do something special for the Anniversary - so in addition to the regular FFAF we want to have a scavenger hunt. All those who wish to participate will please submit their URL and then we'll create clues and release them at Midnight EST on Friday Feb 25th. We're doing this in the spirit of learning about your fellow participants - so there are no prizes. Just jett off an email to us at freeforallfriday@gmail.com saying you want to participate in the scavenger hunt by Midnight EST Thursday the 24th and I will get your name on the list. One caveat - if you participated in the last FFAF and you're already on the blogroll I will include automatically unless you email me saying you don't want to participate :)

04/09/04 1:16 - NEW BLOGROLL/RING POLICY

Due to some confusion regarding the FFAF Participants Blogroll, we are now requiring that to be on the blogroll you must have one of the FFAF buttons somewhere on your blog's main page. Because you are already on the list, we
are asking that you have a button in place by Midnight on April 18th EST. Sites which don't have a button by that cut-off will be removed from the Participants List & Blogroll. At that point, you will still have the opportunity to sign-up again.

For those of you who have the ring instead of the blogroll, we appreciate the support, but in order to weed out those sites who no longer participate, we needed to institute certain measures, and this has been deemed to be the best way.

From now on, the policy will be simple: To be on the participants list & blogroll, you must have a button somewhere on your blog's main page; to be on the ring, you must display the ring somewhere on your blog's main page and be an active participant.

If any of you would like to MAKE some FFAF buttons, we would love that! Let your imagination run wild. We're going to start a submitted buttons page with links to button creators. A contest for best button might even be in store if we get enough response. Send your finished buttons to freeforallfriday@gmail.com

What is a promotion website without a testimomial? Here's one I got today:

I must say.. Free For All Friday was great fun! I had tons of fun exploring new blogs that I had never seen before.. talking to new people. It was a blast! That is such a great idea. It felt like being on a great caffeine buzz. My oldest friends were posting with complete strangers on my blog..I was completely entertained.

I've been using MT for years now but I will never cease being amused/entertained/impressed by it.. I saw things on blogs today that I didn't even know MT could do. It is definitely true that there is always something else to learn.

I'm rambling, aren't I? I didn't sleep at all last night (insomniac.) so my babbling skills have been odd today. Anyways, I'll hush before I go on and on!

We have changed the blogroll to show blog titles instead of first names. I figured that eventually we'd run into some duplicate names. So, please check the blogroll to make sure your blog title is correct. If it's not, send an email to freeforallfriday@gmail.com and I'll get it fixed.

Today is the second ever Free-For-All Friday and we have 15 participants (at least 15 who have registered). If you haven't already registered to be an official participant, please let us know so we can add you to the blogroll.
